Vice President, Talent Acquisition

Will Smiley joins Spark Therapeutics, a fully integrated, commercial company committed to discovering, developing and delivering gene therapies, as Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Mr. Smiley’s prior roles include serving as Senior Director Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement at Adamas Pharmaceuticals and Director, Talent Discovery and Competitive Intelligence at Genentech. Prior to Genentech, Mr. Smiley worked in international development on economic, education and democracy development programs around the globe including five years in Ukraine where he managed Freedom Support Act programs for the US State Department.

Mr. Smiley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Humboldt State University and an MSc in Organizational Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont.
