Zak is a senior executive search professional with more than 25 years of experience in both senior HR leadership roles and executive search. In his work within the executive search sector, Zak has led and executed senior human resources, general management, finance, sales, and operations leadership searches with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. His clients have come from a broad range of industries, including financial services, private equity, manufacturing, technology, and retail. As an experienced Human Resources Practice Leader, Zak’s focus has been on searches for CHROs and their direct reports.
Most recently, Zak served as Practice Leader for Alliance Search Solutions, providing leadership for retained search projects with a focus on professional and executive-level searches in human resources and technology on a national level. Prior to joining Alliance Search Solutions, Zak was a Partner & Executive Search Consultant for Jobplex, Inc., a division of DHR International.
In addition to serving in the executive search industry, he held senior human resource and talent leadership roles for leading companies such as Capital One, Amazon Web Services, Rackspace Technology, HEB, and Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc. where he was recognized as a thought leader and trusted talent advisor to business executives.
Zak received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas Tech University. He also received a Certificate in General Management from the University of Texas, Red McCombs School of Business, Executive Education Program.
