SSG partnered with the Barnes Foundation on an executive recruitment journey to hire its new Chief Financial Officer, Maryanne Murphy.
The Barnes Foundation, a non-profit cultural organization, is an art collection and educational institution promoting the appreciation of art and horticulture.
Ms. Murphy brings more than 30 years of experience as a finance and operations professional. Additionally, she brings extensive experience in operations management, accounting, and analytics, primarily within the non-profit sector.
Most recently, Ms. Murphy served as Chief Financial and Operations Officer at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Prior to her tenure at PAFA, Ms. Murphy served as the Chief Administrative Officer at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies-Brighton, Colorado. Earlier in her career, she was Controller for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Controller of the Graland Country Day School in Denver.
Ms. Murphy received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Drexel University and is a licensed CPA.
