Senior Director, DE&I

Scott Blair joins B. Braun, a leader in infusion therapy, pain management technology and support services, as Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Mr. Blair brings a wealth of experience gained over many years in higher education. He is an accomplished educator, mentor and diversity and inclusion practitioner who works tirelessly to advance diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at DeSales University. Prior to joining DeSales, Mr. Blair was Chief Diversity Officer at Northampton Community College, where he led oversaw the creation of Northampton’s first Diversity Strategic Plan in partnership with the institution’s College Diversity Committee. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Blair held a variety of positions in diversity, academic and student support and athletics at SUNY-ESF and Syracuse University. While with the United University Professions (UUP) – the nation’s largest high education faculty/staff union – Blair served as a chapter president, chapter diversity officer and as a member of UUP’s State-wide Black and Latino Faculty/Staff Concerns Committee.

Mr. Blair holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kutztown University. Born in Venezuela, Mr. Blair and his family now reside in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.
