Chief Human Resources Officer

Kym Johnson joins Tekni-Plex, a dynamic global manufacturer of packaging and device solutions for the consumer goods and healthcare markets, as Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Johnson possesses more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry and over 20 years of global human resources leadership. She has extensive international experience, and her expertise includes creating and implementing lasting human capital strategies to drive business growth.

Ms. Johnson most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources, Chief Human Resources Officer at Quaker Houghton. Prior to joining Quaker Houghton, she was employed by Houghton International. Earlier, Ms. Johnson served as Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer for FMC Corporation. She began her career as a chemist at FMC and advanced through successive human resources roles, including the leadership of HR for the Asia Pacific region in Shanghai. She returned to the US to lead global talent management and global human resources for FMC. 

Ms. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Rutgers University.
