Vice President, BD for New Ventures

SSG partnered with Crane Payment Innovations on an executive search to hire its new Vice President of Business Development for New Ventures, Nick Sanderson.

Sanderson is a senior operations and sales leader with 15 years of demonstrated success delivering millions in revenue, scaling franchise, and licensing operations globally, pitching and raising $25M in capital, and managing Class A restaurant and hospitality development ventures. He is a passionate entrepreneur with a growth mindset and reputation for showing up, supporting the team, and delivering unprecedented results. He is a respected board advisor, HR manager, and sustainability champion with strong people, client, and investor relations skills.

Most recently, Sanderson served as Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at OpenVia. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Professional and Partner Services at Toast and as General Manager of New Ventures at Luxer One. Earlier in his career, he held operations and sales positions with several hospitality and restaurant organizations.

Sanderson received his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from UC San Diego and earned his MBA from the Presidio Graduate School.
